Celebrating a legacy of community impact

and the people and programs that

helped Summit County Thrive!

Welcome

Thank you so much for joining us tonight for our 40th Anniversary! Your support over the years is much appreciated, and we are pleased that you are here to celebrate with us!

Our legacy as the Soul of the Summit would not have been possible without your commitment to our community. It has been a pure joy to look back and reflect on the impact of the Summit Foundation and the thousands of people who have made that possible. The generosity is incredible, and the time and expertise so many share is equally impressive.

We are confident that our community will continue to thrive, and we look forward to a

Bright Future for all!

Enjoy your evening!

Celebrating 40 years of community impact!

Founder’s Corner

Art Bowles,

Breckenridge Ski Resort

Take a seat at Art Bowles' tribute bench and imagine the visionary who, as General Manager of the Breckenridge Ski Corporation, set out to make a difference in his community. His vision led to creating the first Medallion Pass Program, establishing a financially sustainable way to support the Foundation's mission.

Timeline Wall

Celebrating 40 Years

Forty years of transforming lives is hard to sum up. While our timeline wall highlights some of our accomplishments over the last four decades, the stories of the people attending tonight truly represent our impact. Each milestone reflects a chapter of dedication and community spirit, but your personal experiences and contributions bring our history to life.

Uncovered

Good Will Exposed

Take a silly photo celebrating our bravest fundraiser. In 2004, the Summit Foundation and 11 other nonprofits bared it all to expose our community to the amazing benefits of philanthropy. Now it's your turn—just kidding, you can leave your shoes on!

Celebrating 40 years of community impact!

Soul of the Summit

At the heart of what we do is enriching the lives of the people we serve, shown through the many faces of the nonprofits we support and the high school seniors whose dreams we make come true. Look at the mosaic, leave a note of gratitude, or marvel at the incredible difference we have made in just four decades.

“Fun”raisers

For 40 years, we have hosted events like The Great Rubber Duck Race and Philanthropy Awards, bringing the community together to celebrate the joy of caring for one another. These events raise funds and create cherished memories and friendships, like the bonds formed while wrangling ducks in the Blue River.

Gratitude

This is for you—a tribute to every donation's amazing ripple effect on our work. We often hear that people who give receive more from the connections they make than the dollars they donate. Like the sweets on the dessert table, this guilty pleasure recognizes you for giving your time, talent, and treasure. We are here because of you.!

Thank you!

Thank you!
